This month, Citi celebrates our small business customers and all that they contribute to our local communities. From designers, florists and restaurateurs to doctors, accountants and personal trainers, small Business owners are passionate about their work and continually inspire us.
Citi is excited to host in-branch expos, where local small businesses display their products and services and connect one-on-one with branch visitors. Events are scheduled at 350 branches across the country to raise awareness of more than 1200 local small businesses.
- California: 105 branches will host 339 small businesses
- Florida: 52 branches will host 240 small businesses
- New York and New Jersey: 103 branches will host 305 small businesses
- Texas: 41 branches will host 227 small businesses
We have received overwhelming positive feedback from individual customers and small businesses about the value of these events. Citi also offers our small business clients professional development resources and opportunities to connect with fellow business leaders.
At Citi, we work to create products and services that are responsive to our customers' needs. When it comes to small businesses, we have asked small business owners to share their insights on market trends and the new challenges they face. This year we learned the outlook for business conditions is the highest it's been in four years. Despite the challenges of starting and operating a small business, owners report that they are glad they did it. 77 percent said they would do it all again and just as many said they would recommend owning a small business to their children. This is remarkable.
